Sponsorship requests coming from hospitals are also taken very seriously and medicines, devices and hygienic products are donated on a regular base.

In 2005 and 2006 Sensiblu was amongst the first private Romanian companies to help the families affected by the floods that took place in Romania, in the Vest part of the country, but especially in Moldavia. We felt that it is our duty, as a pharmaceutical company, to help those people in need, offering them medical and pharmaceutical assistance and showing them that they are not alone in these hard times. This is the reason why we have launched the campaign "Health and Hope" and allocated a budget of over 200,000 Euro. We have installed first help tents and we have offered drugs, vaccines, clothes and food for children. Not only Sensiblu as a company got involved in this action, but also Sensiblu employers got voluntarily involved in helping the refugees in the flooded areas. An important sum of money has been donated to Bucovina and Moldavia Mitropoly, to be used to for the reconstruction of the churches destroyed in the floods. We have also sustained the renovation of the health centers in Umbraresti (Galati county), Maicanesti (Vrancea county) and Oituz (Bacau county).

The company has also called its patients and employees to join the campaign by launching a fund raising campaign in all Sensiblu pharmacies in the country. The company doubled the sum collected in July - September and thus, 546,656,000 ROL (54665.6 RON) will be donated to the Moldavia and Bucovina Metropolitan Church or to the Solidarity and Hope Foundation for the reconstruction of the churches and people's homes in the flooded areas.

The students community

Along time we have supported the student's community, by financing their projects: web sites, magazines, specialty conferences and seminars, national and international congresses.

In September 2004, Sensiblu launched the first private scholarship program for the students at the Pharmacy Faculty. The program addresses the high school students in their final year of study and it is promoted in over 330 high schools from over 220 small and medium towns from all over the country. The goal of this ample program is to encourage the young people with low income not to abandon their studies and to continue their studies in universities.

At present, 40 students at the Faculty of Pharmacy, in their first and second year of study, benefit of the 100 Euro Sensiblu monthly scholarschips.
